Planeta Cometa Bianco is a great white wine from southern Italian grapes. It is comparable to the world’s great white wines. This was the original intention that began the experiments with Fiano, an ancient noble variety from Campania, in the 1990s. And so Cometa was born, expressing the best characteristics of this extraordinary vine.
Planeta Cometa Bianco is straw yellow with evident green tints. The first vintage wine with a surprisingly intense aromatic nose and charm. From nectarines, pineapple, mandarin, peppermint, to scents of Mediterranean as chamomile and thyme. It is elegant and fat on the palate at the same time. Dynamically varies between sensations of alcoholic and vibrant acidity. Pairs well with carpaccio of raw and/or smoked fish, oysters and grilled shellfish, prawns with saffron.
